The Company

KCE Consultoria Empresarial is a company supplying services directed to technically specialized segments. These are activity niches that require a specific technical knowledge and an ample management approach.

KCE offers consultancy focused on utilization and storage of gases of all types, besides liquid fuels and also supplies consultancy directed to Project Development and Implementation.

KCE also represents international companies in the steel sector with special equipment such as gasholders, and in the mechanical assembly and civil construction sector with a jacking system.

Consultancy

The consultancy segment concentrates its attention in the use and storage of all kinds of gases, in developing and implementing new projects, HAZOP type operational studies and as a director at the Infrastructure Department of FIESP/CIESP.

Representations

The representation activity centres attention in the steel industry, with special equipment, such as gasholders Motherwell Bridge Ltd), and in the mechanical erection and civil construction areas with jacking equipment (Byggwik UK).

Consultancy Concept

KCE’s approach is to operate with a network of associate consultants that are integrated into the projects as necessary, forming a specialists’ group.

New Gasholder

Client: Usiminas

Basic and detailed design, supply of specialized equipment, technical Assistance during erection, tests, commissioning, training and assisted operation of a new 158,000 m³ gasholder (in progress).

Gasholder Refurbishment

Client : Gerdau Açominas

Reform of a water sealed, 3 lifts’ column guided gasholder. The lifts were raised and then lowered after repair by 10 metres, by means of a synchronized jacking system, to permit the repair works, changes of plates and other activities.

Gasholders’ Inspections and Maintenance

Cliente : ArcelorMittal

Periodic inspections and technical assistance, including the supply of seal components during the maintenance services at the Klonne, MAN and Wiggins gasholders.
